The Canada Greener Homes Loan is a program designed to support energy upgrades for homes heated with different fuel types, including natural gas, electricity, propane, wood or oil.

​To qualify for the Canada Greener Homes Loan, begin with an EnerGuide home energy audit.
The loan can be paired with rebates for solar panels, battery storage and heat pumps available through the Home Renovation Savings Program for homes heated with electricity or natural gas.

EcoLogic Energy Advisors is a licensed service organization under Natural Resources Canada, providing EnerGuide home energy audits in Mississauga, Barrie, Collingwood, Ottawa and surrounding areas.

You need to complete two home energy audits to access the Canada Green Home Loan.
Pre - Retrofit

Complete before starting your home energy upgrades

Post - Retrofit

$210 + tax*
Complete after completing your home energy upgrades

Steps to Apply
Step 1: Book 1st
Energy Audit
Book a pre-retrofit home energy audit before starting your home energy retrofits.
Step 2: Apply to the Green Home Loan
Apply to the Green Home Loan.
Request your contractor complete rebate pre-approvals.
Step 3: Install
Eligible Upgrades
After you receive loan and rebate approvals, install your upgrades.
Step 4: Book 2nd
Energy Audit
Book a post-retrofit energy audit, after you've installed all your upgrades.
Step 5: Collect
Loan & Rebate
Once you receive your post-retrofit report, login to your loan account. Your contractor will submit rebate your application.
